FAQ

Cleanup partnership questions.

What does Recycle4BeachCleanUps do?

We partner with businesses to host branded beach, river, and waterway cleanup events for community outreach, employee engagement, education, and documented impact.

What is Sunrise Beach Crew?

Sunrise Beach Crew is the volunteer-facing campaign by Recycle4BeachCleanUps. It gives employees, families, students, and community volunteers a warmer event identity to rally around before, during, and after a cleanup.

Will volunteers know the Recycle4BeachCleanUps name?

They may, but they do not have to lead with it. Recycle4BeachCleanUps is the corporate and operating partner. Sunrise Beach Crew can be the public-facing event identity used on social media, shirts, event pages, and volunteer communications.

Where do you operate?

We are headquartered in Alameda and beginning operations in Northern California, with a long-term mission designed to scale worldwide.

Can CRV material streams support future events?

Yes. After a partnership is established, we can review eligible recyclable materials and discuss CRV redemption-value potential for future cleanup funding support.

Do partners receive documentation?

Partners can receive event photos, participation details, collected material information where available, and a concise impact recap.

What cleanup formats are available?

Common formats include employee cleanup days, sponsored community cleanups, education-focused cleanup events, and annual impact partnerships.

Who at a company usually manages this?

Typical contacts include community outreach, CSR, ESG, HR, employee engagement, marketing, facilities, and local operations teams.

Do cleanups include education?

Yes. The campaign is designed to stay positive and uplifting while educating children, families, employees, and community groups about plastic pollution, microplastics, ecosystems, and practical prevention.

Do you make health claims about microplastics?

No. We present human-health information carefully. Scientists are actively studying exposure and potential long-term effects, so our public message focuses on education, prevention, and reducing avoidable plastic pollution.
